Hey, I'm Bee.
Well my real name is Bianca but it's cool, we're friends so you can call me Bee. I'm a melodic indie-folk singer/songwriter.
So here's a bit about me...
Music and performance has been my passion for a very long time. I started playing piano at about the age of 4 and when I was 6 I started at Italia Conti Performing Arts School where I learnt to sing, dance and act. Whenever I wasn't in school I would be performing and it's been that way ever since.
When I was 18 I decided to go to uni and get me degree before pursuing music. So I went off to the big bright lights of Durham city (which is funny really as it's neither big nor bright - it's rather small and rains a lot) and 4 years later I came out with my degree in Combined Honours in Economics and Spanish. I know - seems a bit random right? But they were my favourite academic subjects! While I was here, I didn't give up; I joined the Durham University street dance competition team, started doing open mics and taught myself to play the guitar.
The day I graduated I came home and told my parents that I was now going to do music full time. Admittedly they weren't thrilled at first but I went off to London Music School for 6 months and followed my dream and they are now my biggest fans and I am eternally grateful to them for that.
Which brings me to where I am now. I have learnt to play the ukulele, I am writing my own songs, getting them recorded, doing gigs and open mics and getting my name out there! (It's Bee by the way, in case you forgot). And hopefully I'll be releasing an EP in the new year!
I guess that sums it up! Please get in touch if you want to know anything else!
Peace and love
xoxo
